Electric Vehicle Charging Now Available at Pera Business Park!

We’re excited to announce that our tenants and their customers can now benefit from six Electric Vehicle fast charging points at Pera Business Park!

There were over 515,000 plug-in vehicles on the road in the UK in May 2021– up 66% from 2019 – totalling 14.7% of market share.* At Pera Business Park, we’re seeing an average of 10 electric or hybrid vehicles on-site every day.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and continued investment in our facilities, installing plug-in charging points in our car park was a natural step forward. In addition to over 400 free car parking spaces, we’re now able to offer six fast charging points for electric vehicles.

This is the first step in a series of environmentally focused initiatives; we are also working with the Place Board to explore how we can create a network of charging stations throughout Melton Mowbray, to promote Melton as a great location for businesses and visitors.
