Hot Desks – Frequently Asked Questions

 

How do your hot desk services work?With our flexible hot desk service, you can drop by any time during our business hours (Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 excl. bank holidays) and have a quiet and professional area to work for a day.

Great for Zoom meetings or if you wanted a change from home working!
How do I use the hot desk service?You have two options:

1) Show up on the day and let one of our receptionists know you'd like to use a hot desk. They'll sign you in and you can pay using our contactless payment service.

2) Book in advance using our online booking platform. This way you can book a day up to two weeks in advance and prepay.

As part of our social distancing measures we'll only be allowing up to 4 people to use our hot desk service per day, so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment!
How does your pricing work?We have a fixed day rate of £9 including VAT.

Unfortunately, we don't offer hourly or half day rates. If you were looking for a room to use for a few hours, you might be interested in one of our meeting rooms.
Where do I go when I get there?Just head to the main reception desk and one of our friendly receptionists will sign you in, give you a key card and let you know the Wi-Fi log in details.

You'll have a dedicated room to use for the day which you'll be sharing with other hot deskers.

Feel free to also use our spacious reception area, pool table, ping pong table and café!
Where can I park?We have a spacious onsite car park that's free for you to use. There are disabled parking bays to the right of the main Tower building.
What do I do when I'm ready to leave?Just grab all your belongings and hand your key card in at reception. They'll sign you out when you leave.
What if I've prepaid and need to cancel or reschedule?Send an email to receptionmm@pera.com at least an hour before you're due to come in and we can cancel or reschedule your booking for you.

If you don't let us know you need to cancel or reschedule before you're due to come in then we won't be able to return your payment or use it against another booking.
Can I see your offices while I'm there?Of course - let one of our receptionists know and we'd be happy to arrange for someone show you around.

Please note that a member of the team may not be available to show you around right away, so the more notice you can give us the better.
